For my next few posts I will be sharing very simple juice recipes that may possibly be unique combinations. There is a synergy with our food, living fruits and vegetables have combinations that flatter one another. Very often, less is more. This can make digestion and enzyme absorption easier. When there is less work for our system, our foods can feel like an instant energy boost or even heal us faster.

Like colors happen to almost always be a perfect combination in juices.

Today I will start off this recipe series with my favorite combination: red cabbage and red grapes. Both of these items have been mentioned in the past on my website including the health benefits.

This juice has sweetness, a kick of spice from cabbage, the color is attractive and it feels more like a fruit juice than drinking a vegetable juice.

Blushing Cabbage & Grape Juice

Makes roughly 2 cups of juices, Serves one personIMG_4229.JPG

1/2 small head of a red cabbage, when juiced this makes about 1 cup or a little more

Two handfuls of red grapes, when juiced this makes around 1 1/2 cups to 2 cups of juice

Optional, juice a little bit of lemon or lime for an extra pH balancing boost and extra kick for digestion to get rolling

Optional, I top mine off with local spring water so I have even more juice

A few tips for those who are getting into making their own fresh juices…

  • Always store in glass
  • Try to control how much you sip at once, do not gulp or chug
  • Chew your liquids
  • When you are done with your juice make sure you give your cup a little rinse so it is easier to wash later
  • Use organic as much as possible
  • Always wash your produce, no seriously wash it guys use your hands
  • Do not make the same juice all the time

Thank you for taking the time to read my jibber jabber. Wishing you all a delicious week! Much love ❤ and raw power 😉
