I have two more Morrocco Method products I would like to chat about today 🙂 Please read my previous post introducing Morrocco Method, what they are all about and their wonderful Fire Shampoo & Spritzer.

The Zen Detox Hair & Scalp Therapy and Earth Shampoo.

It’s amazing how big of a difference the Zen Detox product makes for my hair. I had forgotten to use it and my hair was becoming rather greasy. After using it my hair was clean, luscious and beautiful again. I find this product to be extremely relaxing, several times I have fallen asleep with the product in my hair. It becomes a great part of my tea and night time routine.

Please please please do not forget to follow the directions on this product! Distilled water and a wooden spoon is crucial, otherwise the proper consistency will not occur.

What I personally did was scoop out some clay and added just a little bit of water, kept stirring then added a little bit more if needed until I had the consistency pictured above. This way the clay is smooth, easier to apply, spreads well, and isn’t just clumps scattered about.

It is recommended to keep the product in from 1/2 to 2 hours depending on how you react to its gradual drying effect. Please make sure to deeply massage and spread this product throughout your scalp and hair while it is STILL WET. Each time you use the Zen Detox leave it in your hair for longer; so 30 to 45, 45 to 60, 60 to 120.

Zen Detox can be used once weekly in three consecutive treatments. For the best results, repeat once per month.

If you read my previous post I shared how I REALLY insisted that the Earth Shampoo would be best for my hair. The woman I contacted told me that the best results have been seen with the Fire Shampoo and I figured I would give both a shot. Ironically, I find myself preferring the Fire Shampoo. My hair seems to enjoy it more too ;-)!

Earth Shampoo is for normal to oily hair types. I can really smell the essential oils in this one (Patchouli/Pogostemon Cablin, Palmarosa/Cymbopogon Martenii , and Ylang Ylang) It has more of a “manly” cologne-like scent. The texture is just like the Fire Essence Shampoo but my hair didn’t feel as lively and bouncy using the Earth Shampoo. I have naturally flat hair, to a fault, and am always looking for a little more volume and thickness. I will still use the shampoo but I completely favor the Apple Cider Vinegar Fire Essence  ❤
