Hello my radiant friends!
I hope you all had a fantastic juicy yummy weekend with great company and much laughter. The weather here where I live has been rather moody, and I have been feeling a bit dehydrated with the heat.
I have an Aloe Coconut Green Juice Recipe to share with you all 🙂 The ingredients in this are all wonderful for feeding our cells, giving some extra love to our skin, detoxing, and the greens are excellent for bones too.
Aloe Coconut Green Juice Recipe
Makes One Serving roughly 16 ounces according to the quality of your produce
4 ounces coconut water
1/2 small cucumber
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 tablespoon lime juice
A pinch of cilantro
A small handful for spinach
3-inches of aloe gel cut from the leaf
1/2-inch or less of fresh ginger, peeled
2 celery sticks
Juice and enjoy <3! According to your taste buds you may want to add more coconut water for sweetness 🙂 Or you may be too sweet already ;-)!
If it has been difficult to stay hydrated this summer load up on fruits! Cucumbers, watermelon, blueberries, grapes so many high water content goodies are right at your finger tips. A hydrated body functions easier, feels better and can aid with being able to get everything we all try to cram into our days during the summertime.
It can be hard to stay focused on specific goals during these months of extra sunshine. I like to keep a list of weekly activities or goals that help me stay on track. Many of my goals, dreams, things I need to achieve they are rather big! I can’t just wake up and have more clients for example, there are steps to get there first. This is a wonderful time to consider meditating more to help weed out thoughts, ideas, and feelings. The sun can be so nourishing and nurturing but we can also easily over dose on sunshine too 😉
I have had a few e-mails related to packaged cleanses and what my personal opinion is. This is just my opinion, I do not have any scientific prove to dish out to you so please take the information I would like to share or leave it. I find it a bit difficult to believe that one packaged cleanse can work for everyBODY. All of our bodies are at different states health wise, what may need detoxing, healing, if there are health concerns, and what activities are done throughout the day. If you are doing a juice cleanse with a company I recommend working with one that does a cleanse around your needs. Depending on ones current diet or lifestyle can be a factor on how a cleanse is packaged (e.g, Standard American Diet compared to a plant based diet), if one runs marathons, diabetes is a concern, weight loss is a goal, prescription medicines and so on!
